The "Professional" Biography:
Devyn Burton is an online personality active in the young adult literary community.
Devyn‘s first mark on the literary world came in 2007 when he opened the Holly Black fan site Faerie Drink which has since become the largest and later the official fan site for Black. Faerie Drink Review followed June 2007.

In late 2008, Devyn joined forces with five other young adults to create the multi-media website FiveAwesomeYAFans. The goal of the website was to get teens excited about reading again through various types of media; daily vlogs (Video Blog), blogs, author chats & forums. FiveAwesomeYAFans has gained the support of much of the YA community bringing fans of the group well into the thousands.
Using the attention gained from creating FiveAwesomeYAFans, Devyn joined forces with YA bloggers Korianne Wey and Mitali Dave to create a one of a kind experience for fans of young adult literature. Teen Author Carnival was created by the trio to give readers a chance to connect with their favorite authors. The response from the literary community couldn’t have been any better with literary agents, marketing teams, best selling authors, debut authors in attendance as well as full support and donations from top publishing companies. The Teen Author Carnival is an annual event and will be entering it’s fourth year in 2012!
Devyn resides in Michigan and spends his time writing, reading & assisting authors with online marketing.

I started blogging as a way to work my mind when my body refused to work. At the age of twelve I was diagnosed with Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). It's something that effects my everyday life, but like a valiant knight in war I never let it get the best of me!
I'm a crazy guy with a big heart. In my spare time I enjoy hanging out with my friends, reading, writing and playing with my animals; Sookie, Sparky, Godric & Rusty. (Ten points to Slytherin if you can tell me which animals I named!)
When I'm on the computer I'm working on my many websites, plotting and planning the Teen Author Carnival which I co-created with Mitali Dave & Korianne Wey, and I'm on the Admin Team of the Harry Potter Alliance!
